MOISTURE MATIC model
The automatic residual moisture measuring device in the MOISTURE MATIC model indicates the residual moisture in the individual pieces of leather as they leave the continuous or clip dryer. With automatic measurement of residual moisture, the leather factory is able to set the dryers precisely to achieve the optimal residual moisture in the leather.
The MOISTURE MATIC residual moisture measurement device can also be connected to the process automation system. This controls the temperature of the individual zones in the dryer.
Maintaining the optimal residual moisture prevents unnecessary over-drying and thereby cuts energy consumption. Shrinkage is also reduced if the leather is treated with less energy.
